Alpha Phi Omega is an international service fraternity founded on the principles of the Boy Scouts of America. Our founders believed that if students work together to help others, they may build a set of leadership skills that will prepare them for the work force, as well as form friendships that will last beyond the walls of the classroom.
OUR CARDINAL PRINCIPLES
LEADERSHIP
One of the main qualities that future employers look for in an applicant is leadership. Alpha Phi Omega teaches their members how to be strong leaders through information, workshops, and life application. We believe that there is always room for improvement and continue to learn and grow each day.
FRIENDSHIP
While service is our guiding principle, we also understand the importance of having fun. Though friendships are often formed in the process of completing service projects, there are special events created for the sole process of bonding. Brothers of our fraternity will often say that the relationships they have built in Alpha Phi Omega are stronger than any previous relationships
SERVICE
We have a number of service projects available to all members that extend to the campus, community, and nation. Once a member of Alpha Phi Omega these projects are organized and simple to sign up for. Members will be given a website; on this website, there is a calendar full of projects. Members may simply click on the project of their choice and sign up.
